Founded by Dr. Suma Maddox, Fleur de Bra was created to support women facing the physical and emotional impact of breast cancer and breast reconstruction following a mastectomy. 

Breast reconstruction is more than a surgical procedure. For many women, it can be an important part of healing, restoring confidence, and moving forward with dignity and grace. 

Fleur de Bra unites local artists and female professionals for a creative fashion show event to raise funds and award grants to local nonprofits supporting these women in Louisiana.

Turning Creativity Into Impact

Each year, Fleur de Bra brings together artists, designers, photographers, healthcare professionals, community leaders, and supporters for an extraordinary celebration of creativity and compassion.

The art and fashion are what bring us together. The women we serve are why we do it.

Through the Fleur de Bra event, our community raises funds that are awarded to Louisiana nonprofit organizations working to support women undergoing mastectomy and breast reconstruction.

Our Vision

We envision a Louisiana where every woman who needs breast reconstruction after mastectomy is well supported so she can heal peacefully, both physically and emotionally.

We believe our community can help make that vision a reality.
